Lu'lur
Lu'lur when translated from Javanese means "coating of the skin". In the past it was a luxurious pre-wedding ritual carried out in the royal palaces of central Java, Indonesia. Lu'lur is still practiced among Indonesian women and spa goers in Asia.

The ritual, which in the past lasted for 40 days prior to the wedding, is a time for nurturing and privacy when the women of the family can share sacred stories with the bride. Lulur is given to the bride-to-be to beautify, soften, and sweeten her skin. As spa treatments today, the Lu'lur treatments are one of the most pampering experiences available.

Full range of Lu'lur treatments now available at Serenity Day Spa.
